I'm working on animal-AI alignment and model welfare as I apply to PhDs this fall, supported by NSF CSGRAD4US. I'm interested in the why and how of considering non-human sentient beings in technical AI safety research.
Previously, I had fingers in a lot of pies as the first engineering hire at RetroRate. I graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 2023 with a BS with high distinction in computer science and math.
